Hi Guys,
I would like to invite the 29th Infantry Re enactment group to the next living history tactical event at Pip Pk, see details below...
Stirling Hart and 3 others came to the last event and as I have not heard any complaints I assume they had a good one!....
Anyway let me know if your interested,
Two groups from Europe (Holland/Belgium) are coming, both doing legs,one Armored engineers and te other Armored Infantry,GI44/45, RED1 also. So if you were to join in it wuld be a good event.
WW2 Reenacting Mag will also be present doing a feature on the event.

Private Tactical event 16th 17th April 2011

I have booked Pippingford Park for a Private event next April , the weekend of 16th and 17th April 2011.(weekend before Easter)
The road system would allow for mobile use of vehicles and a fluid tactical culminating to fixed MLR for both sides.

We all had a good time as I remember and i for one would be interested in going back in 2011, be great if we had a few more of us next time.

Yep I would be interested in pip park again....But can we please have a chair lift or a cable car fitted

Hi Stirling, Thanks for the reply, I sent you an email as well...
Well as for the stanner stair lift ...what I have done is to reverse the positions for the 2011 event.Allies will have the road system but the Axis will also have a section...
As Oxlade no longer allows weaps out over night and requires them to be handed in I decided that we need to have something to fill the evening...
Just finnished a book about Feb/April '45 and how close to the front the Doughnut dollies and USO troops got & were the troops are pulled from the frontline to be entertained by a USO troop, so I am trawling to find something along those lines for the Saturday evening,
The event would start Friday night and go thru to Sat around 19.00hrs ...at that point a GMC will collect troops at a local to be transported to the area where "hopefully" a field kitchen with coffee/Chow will be ready and a USO show.After that the weaps can be taken up to Oxlade (up 1 tiny little bitsy hill )
Anyway all this is pie in the sky at the moment as I am pulling it all together still.

Hi Guys, Just an update.
GI44/45 have offered to bring a '37 date us field kitchen so we will operate a rotation from the MLR to the scoff.Keep it realistic.Ther is a forces from Holland/Belgium coming over who mainly have their own weaps so the events will carry on thru to 23.00hrs and stag/sentry thru the night in shifts.Germans will be active.
I cant say I have had any comms with anyone from 29th apart from Clumff/Stirling...any idea if this is appealing to the group?...no probs if not ...just.. wondering!.Pete

Is the 29th, as a group, ie Events co ordinator,interested in doing the event?.
